Got some work done on the spaceport project today. I did 2 additional test builds of the Zoom and narrowed down the cause of the build issues I was having with the last couple of beta builds. I’d thought it was me being a sloppy builder, but that wasn’t it.
So, Bun-Bun has a new friend, Froggy:

New instructions and cutfiles included.
Okay, main differences:
- There are external flaps on the upper body that fold over and glue onto the belly plate.
- There are antibuckle flaps on the belly plate.
- Additional tolerance tweaks on the wheel wells, belly plate, and the big reinforcer piece.
Let me know how you get on with this version.
In other news, I discovered an use for Twitter. It’s great for the little incremental stuff that doesn’t merit a whole blog or forum post, so I dusted off the Genet Models Twitter account and put it to work. You can find it here: @GenetModels
UPDATE (JUNE 14 2012): Updated file again–somehow an older version of the cutfiles ended up in the test package. I’ve fixed and re-uploaded it. Same link.
